Michaela Rose - Filming in Hollywood movie and TV shows
— Dear Michaela, at the end of 2021, you managed to come to Moscow and act in a film by director Erken Ialgashev! Tell me, what is this project about?
— The movie we have shot in Moscow was about a Gangster/Crime Story which played in different decades, the 80s and now. I was playing myself, a singer who had a kind of friendship with one of the Gangster protagonists, the Kazakh Actor Berik Aitzhanov. I enjoyed it very much, being part of such a great movie project with such great and famous people!
— What are your future plans for the cinema? Will there be more filming?
— It’s been my first time working together with the movie Director Erken Ialgashev. And we’d clicked from the first moment. Because of the very positive working cooperation, he’d offered me now another role part in his new movie, which he’s producing and directing himself. It will be an action movie. As far as I know, till now, is, that also the international actors Eric Roberts and Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa taking part. I guess we’re going to shoot soon in May, probably in Dubai. So I’m again very excited!
— We also saw that you were in a TV show? Was it in Germany mostly? Tell me more about it.
— Yes, I’ve shot a funny cooking show, where I’ve been invited as the first celebrity. It’s been very funny and entertaining, cause the host of the show was Tanja Goetemann, one of my singer colleagues who is also part of my new Arabesque family 🙂 You can imagine that we’ve giggled a lot, and the poor Cook didn’t have many chances to interrupt us in talking..;)) I also did several Interview Podcasts for Radio Hosts, for example, in Canada and Argentina.
— You have concert tour plans, right? (you are planning to travel to Kazakhstan, European countries, and Belarus)
— Step by step, it’s going on with concerts finally. After the last two years of the Corona restrictions, it’s been very hard to plan and still is…but, thank God, it’s starting! We’re going to have several shows, for example in Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan… In July, a special appearance will be at the famous music festival “Slavianska Bazar” In Vitebsk. We will perform there, and I’m also in the Jury. I will also perform there for the first time together with the group “Horizont.” With them, I’ve recorded our big Hit “Midnight Dancer” in the Russian language, “Tantsuyem Disko”! You can be sure that I’m a bit afraid, singing with the correct pronunciation….
— Coming Soon 45 years of Arabesque! Wow! Will you celebrate? And How?
— Incredible, with “Arabesque,” I’m going to celebrate our 45th anniversary this year!!! When I remember my first steps into the music business, it sometimes seems so unreal, being able to still live this dream and that our Fans still want to hear our music! I’m so thankful for it! Because of these steady demands, I’m still working hard and with great joy on stage. Trying also to make my old and new fans happy with new projects, like the DJ Version of “Friday Night, the Oriental Night Mix “with DJ Nejtrino or “Танцуем диско” with Horizont and the new recordings of my album “The Upgraded Collection.” Praying that this will still be possible for the next years, without any bad circumstances…..
